It’s easy (and fun) to get caught up in the consumerism of the holiday season with days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That’s why a day dedicated to giving and doing good for others, like #GivingTuesday, is so important!  Mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 28, 2017 and plan on supporting York Catholic in this worldwide annual day of giving.

This year, with your help and generosity, we hope to raise $16,000 to go towards The York Catholic Fund.

We Believe you can help redefine the giving spirit during the holiday season in 3 easy steps:

  1. Click on the Donate button on the homepage of the YC website (we’ll make it easier…just click here)
  2. Give a gift this holiday season.
  3. Share your story of giving with all of your friends in conversation and on social media.

We hope you’ll find this year’s #GivingTuesday to be as fulfilling and inspirational as we do.

Thanks for Catching Our Irish Spirit and showing your YC pride!

The York Catholic Fund

“We Believe”

The York Catholic Fund provides vital dollars to help ensure an exceptional educational experience for our students. Each year, donations support the gap between tuition charged and the actual cost per student (approximately $2,000.00 per student), professional development for teachers, student club activities, technology, and facility improvements at the school.

We Believe York Catholic students work hard, play hard, and brighten the world with their faith, mind, and heart. They share their musical and acting talents throughout the year and have great success on the fields and on the courts winning several athletic championships.

We Believe our parents make the best choice for their children as they continue to invest significantly in their education. The Class of 2017 is a strong example of the return on this investment achieving $8.3 million in college scholarship offers and volunteering over 20,000 hours of service to the greater York community and beyond. Upon graduation, our students truly realize the mission statement of York Catholic as they are academically sound, intellectually curious, and ethically prepared to serve the global community with grace.

We Believe as a member of our YC family, your help will enable us to continue to offer a rich multidimensional experience for this year’s students. Please become a donor to this year’s York Catholic Fund. Your support will help our students benefit from strong academics, winning athletics, and vast and varied extracurricular activities.

We gratefully accept annual gifts from July 1 through June 30 of each year to The York Catholic Fund. Donors who give $1,000 (or more annually) are members of YC’s Mystical Rose Society and as such, receive special acknowledgement at Mass and invitation to events throughout the year. For fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018), The York Catholic Fund will strive to raise $300,000 to address the initiatives above by encouraging all graduates whether recent or seasoned, parents, and friends to get involved. Each and every gift, whatever the amount, is valued and matters tremendously.

Even though the 2018 color yearbooks are not distributed until May, NOW is the time to place your order for a book.  Extra yearbooks are not available in May.  Only what is ordered is delivered to YC for distribution.  To make yearbook ordering easier, York Catholic is participating in the Smart Pay sales management program offered through Taylor Publishing. Smart Pay handles the order taking and payments allowing the yearbook advisor and staff additional time to produce the best yearbook ever.

Order NOW!  Simply click here or call the Smart Pay ordering line at 1-800-853-1337.

Special Note for Parents of Seniors:

There will be a special section of the 2018 yearbook reserved only for parents of seniors to send a message to their senior son or daughter.  It is a great keepsake and a wonderful way to congratulate your child for all of their years of hard work.  The rectangular space costs $20 and can be in full color with a total of 30 words and 1 picture.  Be sure to only submit pictures that you do not need replaced.  Photos should be in good condition and printed on photo paper.  Please click here for the Senior Form and return it with your payment (checks made payable to York Catholic High School) to Mrs. Nagley no later than Tuesday, November 21.
