“For it is in giving that we receive.”
~Francis of Assisi
Welcome and thank you for visiting the Advancement Office virtually. We appreciate your interest in supporting York Catholic and our talented students.
Since our founding over 85 years ago, philanthropy has played a vital role in the academic, spiritual, athletic, and social offerings for our students. Because of the generosity of many alumni, parents, and friends we are able to sustain our commitment to academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and the spiritual teachings of the Catholic Church.
As you consider what York Catholic means to you and your family, please consider the opportunities to give noted in this section. If you would like to talk about your philanthropy to YC, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.
Thank you for caring. Together we can help ensure the next 85 years are even greater for YC!

Donor Gift Options
YC Annual Fund
(gifts received July 1 through June 30 each year)
We invite you to show your support that “Values Matter” and become an Annual Fund donor. Your unrestricted gift will have immediate impact on our students’ educational experience. Every gift is valued.
Your donation will make a world of difference to talented students studying to become tomorrow’s leaders. Thank you for continuing the caring tradition of the YC Family!
Since tuition doesn’t fully cover the true cost to educate students each year, the annual fund is perhaps the most necessary and vital fund at the school. Contributions to the Annual Fund support tuition assistance, student programs, academic areas, our teachers, and our school facilities. Gifts from alumni, parents, and friends demonstrate an appreciation for the values of a York Catholic education and are treasured by our students and our school community.

This fund provides necessary monies to enhance our technology including laptops and carts, classroom advancements, and infrastructure.
Forjan Focus Fund
for Teachers’ Salaries
Among YC’s greatest treasures are our teachers. This vital fund provides salary monies for YC teachers.
Tuition Assistance Fund
While we strive to keep tuition costs low, there is a gap between tuition and the “true” cost to educate a student at YC. This fund provides necessary monies to close the gap so that all YC families benefit. The fund also helps provide additional assistance to families who qualify.
Professional Development Fund
This fund offers monies to support workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities for our teachers.
Donors interested in establishing a named scholarship or program fund for lasting impact at YC, are asked to contact Maida Connor, Executive Director of Advancement, at 717-846-8871 x216.
85 plus years is a long time in the life of a school. This fund welcomes gifts to support the next 85 years, as we strive to maintain and enhance our facilities and our campus.
Gifts in Kind
Offers of Gifts in Kind (donated items or services) are greatly appreciated and will be reviewed by the principal on an individual basis to determine York Catholic’s interest and ability to accept.
