Golden Apple Award Winner

Congratulations to Jill Euclide, York Catholic High School English teacher and Department Chair, who was named a Golden Apple Award recipient by the Diocese of Harrisburg! The Golden Apple is the highest recognition given by the Diocese to a teacher or administrator commending professional excellence, leadership, commitment to Catholic values, and devotion to teaching in a Catholic school.
Mrs. Euclide is a member of the YC community as a teacher, parent, and alumna. She is an exemplary English educator, mentor, and inspiration for her students and fellow department members. She is selfless, genuine, and dedicated to her students, going above and beyond the call of duty every day. She encourages excellent writing and works tirelessly on behalf of her students.
In addition to her rigorous academic schedule, Mrs. Euclide is also a mother and a woman of faith. She has served as a catechist at her parish, Holy Infant, assisting with first communion preparation for several years.
The York Catholic mission statement incorporates faith, family, and mutual respect for all. Mrs. Euclide brings all three components to our hallways and her classroom every day. She is a master educator and most deserving of the Golden Apple award.
