Tuition & Financial Aid

At YC, we work hard to ensure the cost of tuition is not an obstacle for students who have the opportunity to thrive through a YC education. As a result of the generous support of donors and supporters, York Catholic can offer a tuition rate that is less than the actual cost to educate a student.
Additionally, a range of tuition assistance and financial aid resources are available to support families who qualify. Members of parishes within the Diocese of Harrisburg are eligible to receive parish support. Plus, all students who qualify can apply for supporting financial assistance through the Simple Tuition Solutions (STS) program.
The bottom line: when YC is the right fit, we work hard to make it happen and remove tuition costs as a barrier. We understand each family has unique needs related to financial aid and our team is here to offer personal support throughout the application and enrollment process. Please reach out with any questions or to start a conversation. We are here to help.

Go to FAQsYC Tuition Costs
The average cost of educating a student at YC is $11,500 per student per year. Through the generous support of parishes and individual and corporate donors, YC is able to offer tuition at a reduced cost, providing what equates to a $4,000 subsidy to each student. The tuition costs outlined below are after that core subsidy is applied. All costs are before any applicable financial aid would be applied for families who qualify. We encourage families seeking financial aid support to apply as early as possible in conjunction with enrollment for financial awards. Financial aid applications are available online through Simple Tuition Solutions (STS).
Partner Parish Members
Students who are active members of a parish within the Diocese of Harrisburg qualify for the supporting parish tuition rates. This includes an additional subsidy provided by the supporting parishes. For a list of parishes in the diocese, click here. The form available below can be used to confirm membership with each parish and must be completed and returned as part of the enrollment process.

Option 1: Tuition may be paid in full in August for the following school year through your STS account. If you decide to pay tuition in full, the $40 fee is waived, if the full payment is paid within 15 days after the invoice is posted in STS.
Option 2: A monthly payment plan may be set-up. Payments plans are set up through STS and are due the 10th of each month August through May.
Two need-based tuition assistance programs are available to those who qualify: The Neumann Scholarship Foundation administered through the Diocese of Harrisburg and York Catholic’s Tuition Assistance Program funded by generous donors. The Simple Tuition Solutions (STS) online application for tuition assistance is due no later than March 1, 2022 for the 2022-23 school year. We do our best to help every family with financial need; however, applying for aid after the deadline greatly diminishes the chance for tuition assistance as the monies available may have already been allotted. The online tuition assistance application is available through Simple Tuition Solutions (STS).
Yes, aid is not automatically renewed. Tuition assistance application forms must be submitted for each school year. The STS Financial Aid Application fee is $25.
