We’re excited to help your family begin the admissions process at York Catholic. The steps below will guide you through everything from connecting with Admissions and submitting an application to exploring Family Customized Tuition and preparing for enrollment.
YC Admissions Process Step by Step
The YC admissions process is designed to be straightforward, supportive, and easy to navigate. Select each step below to learn what to expect throughout the admissions process, from your first conversation with the Admissions Team through enrollment. Students applying from York Catholic Partner Schools enjoy a simplified process, as many required records will be shared directly with our Admissions team.
Every family’s journey begins with a conversation. Connect with our Admissions team to ask questions, learn more about York Catholic, and schedule a personal tour or VIP Day, or attend an Open House to experience our welcoming community firsthand.
Prospective students spend the day at York Catholic alongside a current student, attending classes, meeting teachers, connecting with future classmates, and getting a firsthand look at daily life on campus.
Complete your online application through the Focus Parent Portal. You’ll be prompted to create an account before beginning the application, and our Admissions team is available if you need assistance along the way.
After submitting your application, complete the Family Customized Tuition process. Once your information has been reviewed, you’ll receive your personalized tuition contribution. You can also explore opportunities to support financial aid at York Catholic through Pennsylvania’s Tax Credit programs.
Once accepted, we’ll help make your student’s transition to his or her new school seamless and welcoming. From enrollment to orientation and beyond, you’ll have support every step of the way.

Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to the YC family! We can’t wait to have you join us!
For students who have been offered acceptance, the following next steps can be used to finalize your enrollment:
- Consult your acceptance letter for any enrollment forms that were included and prepare to upload them during the online enrollment process.
- Have the following items ready as they are required during the online enrollment process:
- Student’s Physician Name and Phone Number
- Student’s Medications
- Credit card (fee) or checking account number (no fee) to pay the $300 enrollment fee
- Complete the online Enrollment process on the Focus platform as detailed in your acceptance letter.
- Complete the online Family Customized Tuition Questionnaire to determine your tuition contribution at Simple Tuition Solutions (STS) OR participate in the PA Tax Credit program as detailed in your acceptance letter.
