Where Passion Meets Purpose

At the heart of YC’s academic program is to provide students with enriching experiences that help advance their passions, develop a lifelong love of learning, and ultimately apply what they love to reach their academic goals, creating their future successes.

We recognize the world today’s students live and lead in will look very different from our world in the future; therefore, we strive to prepare them for rapidly evolving careers and help them develop a sound worldview built on an education that values academics, the arts, community service and the importance of creating lasting connections.

Inspiring Lifelong Learners and Leaders

YC students are prepared for the future and empowered to excel in college and their career through a challenging and integrated curriculum designed to foster critical thinking. Technology is thoughtfully integrated and students are provided with resources to be informed, productive learners who leverage technology in innovative ways to further their learning experiences. Students are guided by high standards of academic integrity and encouraged to participate in respectful debate to sharpen their communication skills.

At YC, we believe you need experience to grow. We hope students learn a new language, participate in the science fair or try out for a new sport or activity and step outside of their comfort zone. Each of these experiences shapes our students as learners and can add tremendous value to the middle and high school years.
