For middle school students, clubs and activities provide important opportunities for self-discovery and exploration of interests. Active participation also helps students grow personal connections as they engage and collaborate with fellow teens who share their interests. At YC, middle schoolers are encouraged to participate in multiple activities where they can try new things as well as continue to cultivate current interests.
