Tax Credit Programs (EITC/OSTC/SPE)
York Catholic is excited to share some information with you that is sure to change how you view paying your state and federal taxes each year. You have to pay these taxes regardless, so why not have a say in how your taxes are allocated? The EITC and OSTC programs provide tax breaks to businesses, while the SPE program provides a tax break to individuals. The money you re-direct to York Catholic is used for educational purposes, specifically tuition assistance.

Individual SPE Gifts
A Special Purpose Entity (SPE) allows Pennsylvania individuals to re-direct 90% of personal state income taxes to York Catholic. SPE is based on tax liability, not income, therefore each taxpayer’s situation will differ. SPE gifts are directly applied to tuition assistance to help make a YC education accessible to a greater number of students around our community.
