Futures Events

At York Catholic, our partner school students in grades K-6 are known as our “Futures.”  We host numerous events throughout the year to invite them to our campus and interact with our students.  Please make note of the dates below and plan to join us!

Futures Mini-THON

York Catholic is hosting Futures Mini-THON for students in grades 4-5-6 on Tuesday, November 26, from 6-8 PM. Our Futures will enjoy a night modeled after Penn State’s THON with dancing, games, and crafts all to benefit the Four Diamonds fight to conquer childhood cancer!  We are asking for a minimum donation of $5 payable at the door, however, pre-registration is required by November 21.

Futures Elf Night

Students in grades K-3 are invited to attend Futures Elf Night on Friday, December 13, from 6-9 PM at York Catholic. Crafts, games, and a snack will be offered by the YC Student Ambassadors. This is a great time for parents to finish their last minute preparations for Christmas while their children are having fun in a supervised atmosphere! All children must be registered with a permission form prior to the event and space is limited. To assure we have adequate supervision, walk-ins will not be accepted the night of the event.  Pre-registration is required by December 9.

Futures Games

Students in grades K-6 are invited to Futures Night at the York Catholic basketball games!

Future girls’ basketball players are invited Tuesday, December 10, when the YC girls’ team takes on Hanover.

Future boys’ basketball players and cheerleaders are invited Tuesday, December 17, when the YC boys’ team takes on Fairfield.

The JV games start at 6 PM followed by the Varsity games. Futures will participate in the pre-game prayer and huddle, and become part of the welcome tunnel. Students should wear their uniform shirt for free admittance and must be accompanied by an adult. Come out and cheer your future school onto victory!

No registration necessary.
